Using the Chaos Machine to Make a Chaos Weapon - To try to make a chaos weapon you need a minimum of 1 chaos, a 4+4 item and some zen. The greater the % chance to succeed the more stoneage 2 Gold zen it will cost to combine.
The result is random and you can get one of these three chaos weapons: Chaos Dragon Axe for the DK, Chaos Lightning Staff for the DW, or Chaos Nature Bow for the elf.
To improve the % chance to succeed you can add more chaos or even add soul and/or bless jewels. You can also add more items that are minimum 4+4.
What happens if you fail: Your jewels will disappear and your items will drop in levels. Your item may drop a level where it becomes useless. Sometimes your item level will drop but it can still be used in future Chaos Combinations.
Place the item and 2bless, 2soul, 1chaos, and 4Million Zen in the Chaos Machine and press the Combine button. If it is successful you will have a +11 item, if not the item will be destroyed and you will be left with nothing.
